Last night Kuschke Consulting and Microsoft, with the help of SADeveloper.net, jointly hosted Greg Young’s “Unleash Your Domain”, a talk about what Greg calls the “next evolution of Domain Driven Design”. In general attendees were blown away by Greg’s refreshing take on architecture – in particular around persistence. His view is a fairly simple one that makes a whole lot of sense, yet it completely flies in the face of your conventional architecture. For example, he motivates why he thinks that property getters and –setters are a domain anti-pattern!
Greg will be doing a 3-day training course in Cape Town in a few weeks time, on which we will post more information soon.
